Experience
Amali Homes may be a new name, but the experience behind it spans more than three decades. Ivan McRobb has designed and built many homes across the Toowoomba region over the past four years, and he has a strong network of locally based trades and suppliers.
That history matters in the Darling Downs. Reactive black soil, sloping Range blocks and acreage sites with limited services all demand decisions early, before a contract is signed. Ivan has solved those problems on Toowoomba and Highfields blocks before, and he personally manages every Amali build from the first soil test through to handover.
Today, Amali Homes is a new chapter, built on the same knowledge, standards and care developed over a lifetime in the industry.

Site meetings are booked directly with Ivan, who travels up from South East Queensland for each stage of your build.

Yes. Amali Homes builds throughout South East Queensland including Toowoomba, Highfields and the surrounding Darling Downs, alongside Brisbane and the Gold Coast. We have builds underway in Toowoomba now.
Yes. Toowoomba and Highfields blocks often bring slope, reactive black soil or limited services. We arrange survey, soil classification and engineered footings before design so the site cost is known before you sign, not discovered during construction.
Three things come up on most local blocks. First, soil: much of the Darling Downs sits on reactive black clay, so footing design depends on the soil classification for your specific block. Second, slope: sites around the Range and in Highfields often need engineered footings, retaining or a split-level design that works with the fall of the land. Third, climate: cold winter mornings and hot summer afternoons mean orientation, glazing and shading choices have a real effect on how the home lives. We work through all three before design is finalised, so the site shapes the home rather than surprising it.
Yes. If you love your street but have outgrown the house, we assess the site, services and council requirements, manage demolition and rebuild a new home on the same block.
You deal directly with Ivan McRobb, the licensed builder running your job. There is no sales team between you and the person on site.
Yes. Amali Homes is a QBCC licensed builder and a HIA member, and every home comes with a 10-year structural warranty and a 12-month maintenance period.
